Community Table

Community Table is a Success - More Volunteers Needed

Background:  In 1992, when the Hunger Task Force of Boulder County determined that a hot meal program was needed for lower income families and seniors the idea for Community Table was born.  Over the next few years a dedicated board of directors and the Interfaith Council of Boulder focused on securing a central location in Boulder with a kitchen and dining facilities.  In 1996, First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) graciously offered their space to serve a meal three nights per week all year around.

Community Table - Providing a hot meal to those in need in our local community

Since 1997, Mount Calvary has rolled up its sleeves to fight against hunger in our local community.    Mount Calvary provides an active volunteer work force at least once a month to assist Community Table of Boulder www.communitytable.net  with what it needs to feed over 150 guests per night.   Mount Calvary also has a member that sits on the Board of Directors of Community Table

Come and join us!   Make a difference in your local community.
