Mount Calvary will be organizing a central drop-off point for donations to Lutheran Family Service's (LFS) Refugee Program. Please bring your quality used items to Mount Calvary on the 2nd Saturday of every month between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. so that they can be collected. LFS will then pick up the items during the week. The LFS refugee program provides much needed goods to refugees in the Denver metro area. You can download the attached flier to circulate in useful locations.

LFS Refugee Program-Needs

• Kitchen tables & chairs
• Silverware, glasses, and cups
• Dishes, pots, & pans
• Mixing & serving bowls
• Can openers & alarm clocks
• Towels, blankets, & Bedding (No Mattresses, Box-Spring, or Pillows!)
• Waste Baskets,
  Mops, & Brooms
• Couches & Dressers (please don’t bring to Mount Calvary, call Lutheran Family Services (303-389-2336) for pick-up at your home.)

Please, no mattresses, box springs, or pillows as they must be provided to refugees new. For health reasons we cannot accept donations of these items. Also, we cannot accept donations of clothing, shoes, toys, electronics, appliances, etc. due to our limited storage space as well as the costs we incur in having
to recycle or dispose of those items.
